The Reason

I have been missing for quite a while on here. There are quite a few sessions that need to be updated, however, I have been very busy.

These are the reason why:

August Paul and Elias Jude were born on 12/29/11. You can catch up on our life as a family of seven on my family blog.
I am still working, but have decreased my work load. I am using as much time as I can to be a wife and mother to these special kiddos!
All of my updates and information can be located on my Facebook page.
Thank you for your patience!

A Special Love: Sonora Family Photographer

This family is something special! They are a part of a very small group strong enough to bust out those babies one after one!
This is baby Max. He arrived with a secret that nobody new...he had spina bifida. His mommy was able to birth him naturally because, of course, his condition was not known at the time. She was so grateful for that.
He is a special boy.
They have been through a lot in the last few weeks. Processing things, bonding, even juggling the family flu... yet, they arrived at the shoot happy, loving, adorable.
Their kids are just gorgeous. Their eyes are every photographer's dream!
Isn't this an amazing family?
Baby Max, you are one special boy.

...and this is what three under three looks like...bliss!

Me Wuk Baby: Sonora Newborn Photographer

Remember this expecting mother? Married to a Native American from the Me Wuk tribe, I was delighted when I found out that they wanted to include some of his heritage in the maternity and newborn shoots! I love a fun and creative project...scroll down to see baby Kailani donning her Papa's tribal jewelry...

Chubby Cheeks: Sonora Newborn Photographer

This sweet baby girl is quite old for a newborn session, but look at how wonderfully she slept for me! Courtney spent weeks in the NICU, but she is home and her family is quite happy to have her there. I would be too, with those sweet cheeks to kiss all day long!

See her Momma, Heather, when Courtney was in the tummy!

Sweet Audria: Sonora Newborn Photographer

Doesn't her pretty name fit her?
She was a little Christmas baby and her Momma crocheted this hat for her!

Sweet baby ears.

Baby Khloe: Sonora Newborn Photographer

The expecting Mommy was breathtaking, which leaves little room for the surprise factor at just how stunning this little baby girl was when I met her for the first time. Her demeanor was so sweet and special, too. Congrats you family of four!

I always try to incorporate a little bit of before/after for my clients when they purchase the Inn-N-Out package. :-)

Look at that eye contact with Mommy, at just 11 days old!

Pocket Baby: Sonora Newborn Photographer

She was supposed to be a Christmas baby, but she came a bit early. Baby Gracie is only 4.5 lbs! Her doctor named her Pocket Baby. She gave me a lot of sleepy smiles in her session and was just so delicate to work with. Enjoy her tininess!

She has had quite a welcoming. A huge snow storm came through when her Mommy and Daddy were supposed to bring her home. Unfortunately their power went out and was out for a few days. Gracie experienced the college lifestyle of "couch surfing". This is why I love her in this hat...she looks like a little snow baby!
I love the angle on this one with her little feet up by her face...so utero-like!
Christmas card!

Liberty: Sonora Newborn Photographer

Meet Liberty: There are almost no words, she's perfect, and the photo below fits her and her parents perfectly.
I wanted to recreate Aimee's Maternity Session in a different light. I can't believe almost nine pounds of baby was in that little belly!
They were so at ease with her.

I was losing it over this hand knit outfit...made by Patrick's grandmother, for his mom, isn't it adorable?
