Expecting Sisterhood: Sonora Maternity Photographer

Every expecting Momma needs one photo in her pregnancy that shows the sexiness of the life within... I believe we accomplished that with this gorgeous Mommy:

In any session, a two-year-old can be a challenge, but honestly, my biggest challenge is maternity and newborn shots with their pint-size big brother/sister...but this little angel loved her sissy-to-be so much, she gave us quite a few shots with the belly.

Made me happy, and I'm sure made Mommy and Daddy happy too!

I've done this shot before. Sometimes I can feel like I'm lacking creativity when I re-create a shot, but at the same time, if it brings out such beauty in the subject, it's kind of similar to finding the right recipe--no need to mess with it!

I can't wait to meet little sister, in fact, I just got news that she was born...look for her debut soon!

Awaiting Liberty: Sonora Maternity Photographer

This couple to me seems to fit in the "All-American" category. They're young, vibrant, passionate, smart, good-looking, and in love with each other. I would say that it's quite fitting that their little girl will be named Liberty.

I had the honor of working with them to host an "All-American" picnic.

Complete with a red bus.

And an apple orchard.

And a river.

You know, because that's what everyone has at their picnics in America.

Anyways, it was a blast to see them frame their moment of expecting.

Anticipation (part two)

Being that their first little one is a boy, I can't help but feel a connection to these two...well, and also the fact that they laughed the entire time.

I had to delete so many photos because they were cracking up in every one!

Anticipation

Anticipation is a good thing...it fills the mind with questions, wonder, and excitement...it leaves one dreaming, hoping, and waiting.
It's what every couple goes through in the process of waiting for a baby.
It's what this fun couple exudes while they wait for their baby boy to enter the world.

Another Surprise!

Baby is due in four weeks, and Mama looks fan-tas-tic! This baby is going to make his or her gender known soon (again, love that).

I call this "On Top of the World"...isn't the view incredible?

I mentioned over on my personal blog, that the clouds were rapidly changing...we got so many amazing shots with different types of backgrounds and colors...it was so fun. And with a slight bit of wind? Her hair was very "Victoria's Secret".

Baby and sun...good combo.

Expecting: Who?

I love when couples choose to do things the traditional way...not finding out the gender of their baby. I live vicariously through their excitement of the unknown...so boy or girl, what will it be? We'll be finding out in a few short weeks!

This Momma's eyes were so incredible to shoot.

Oh, and in case you didn't notice, her skin is gorgeous too.

Momma will have her hands full, the babies will be 17 months apart!
